Dave Argentati is a singer/songwriter based in Tucson, AZ. He performs his own originals and covers of his favorite songwriters like Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Don Mclean, Harry Chapin, and many others. He and his wife, Kathrin, form the duo, Late Rain.

"Music is a gift from God", muses singer-songwriter Dave Argentati, "and songwriters have a responsibility to share the gift. I want my songs, which are birthed from my experiences and wounds, to express for others what they cannot express themselves."


Dave Argentati grew up during a time when a kid could ride his bike sun-up to sunset and no one worried. When Yusuf Islam was called Cat Stevens. Fun for him was spending his evenings perfecting James Taylor licks and pondering Jackson Browne lyrics.

A rich heritage of great songwriters has influenced his own unique style, making smiles and tears commonplace at his concerts as he shares with passion and vulnerability his life through music. Whether he is singing about a broken relationship, new love found, or a Vietnam Vet he met on the street, listeners experience the heartfelt emotion these songs evoke.

You can still find Dave riding his bike around town at sunset. But you won't find him working on James Taylor songs. He's too busy working on his own.
